This adjustment is not simply a decision made by ISPO. It is the result of many discussions and considerations - always with an eye on what is good for the industry.
Advantages at a glance:
- Designed to be retailer-friendly: The integrated Sunday makes it easier for retailers to visit the trade fair without having to neglect their operational business. This means: more time to discover new brands, hold valuable discussions and plan strategically.
- More space for freelancers: Whether trainers, coaches, physiotherapists or content creators - the extra day at the trade fair creates opportunities for industry players who often have to tear themselves apart between appointments.
- Inspiration without distraction: With less time pressure and more freedom, new ideas, connections and impulses are created. We want to create a framework in which real conversations and networks can grow.
- Despite a full trade fair calendar - we made it possible: The industry is close to our hearts and we want to work to create space for the community. The 2025 trade fair calendar is tightly scheduled - but we were still able to secure this date.
- Outdoor at the heart of ISPO: After the OutDoor 2025 break, we wanted to make sure that the outdoor segment doesn't miss out. The most important concepts will flow seamlessly into ISPO Munich - creating a stage that meets the needs of outdoor brands, retailers and experts.

How can we offer more orientation, create more opportunities for business, exchange and knowledge transfer in equal measure without compromising the community feeling and experience? We gave this question a lot of thought and discussed and optimized the hall planning:

What does that mean in concrete terms?
- Expo & Convention Area: The Expo Area and Convention Area are moving closer together to focus even more on networking and knowledge transfer. Including: Sports Tech Nation and SPORT BRAND MEDIA, which started in 2024 as SPORT MARKE MEDIEN and is now expanding internationally. Further exciting conferences are already being planned.
- Entrance West as an experience hub: The West Entrance creates a seamless connection between the Expo and Convention areas, ensuring an efficient exchange. The newly designed entrance area will become a creative meeting point with staged worlds of experience, networking areas and inspiration.
- Structuring along the value chain: The structure of the exhibition halls is designed to make visiting the trade fair even more efficient and provide more orientation for all market participants:
- Brands & Products: Established and up-and-coming new brands present their most innovative products, pioneering technologies and fascinating brand stories. Whether forward-looking design or sustainable innovations - here you will find the diversity of the sports industry.
- Upstream & Supply: From sustainable materials to innovative production processes, sourcing specialists, designers and product developers will find new solutions and technologies for pioneering sports products in these halls.
- Commerce & Experience: Sales, marketing and the experience of sports products - this area is all about the connection between product and consumer. Solution providers, organized sports, digital technologies and health solutions for consumers can be found here.
